The goal is to display this Consent Page which appears before you enter a virtual meeting. It gives the participant the opportunity to decide whether to be recorded.

Setup in Unique.app:

Create default meeting links from...

  • Teams:

  • Google Meet:

  • Zoom: take your Personal Meeting ID from Zoom settings

Copy the meeting link, and add to the 'DEFAULT MEETING LINK' section within your My Profile page:

Important ๐Ÿ’ก - It is recommended to save up to 10 default links to not have conflicts with other concurrent meetings.

Go to My Company and enter your privacy policy URL. Don't forget to click on SAVE.

Google Calendar setup:

  1. Open your Google Calendar and select the (+) icon:

  2. Search and Install "Unique for Google Calendar" from the market place.

  3. Once installed, there will be a drop-down arrow to open the Unique Meeting module from the meeting set-up page:

By clicking on participate the consent page will appear.

Outlook setup:

  1. Open the downloads page and select 'Unique for Outlook'.

  2. Unzip the download to retrieve the 'manifest.xml' file.

  3. From Outlook (web or desktop) select: Get Add-in > My add-ins > Add a custom add-in > Add from file... and choose the manifest.xml file.

  4. Once installed the add-in will can be selected when scheduling a new meeting. The option 'Collect consent' will generate a replacement meeting link which will launch the consent page for the participants:

Participant declines:

Should one of the participants decline to join, then the bot recording will be disabled for this meeting.

You will be able to see from the meeting bot log in your agenda page, that someone declined to be recorded and the bot cannot record the meeting.
