For AI assistants to answer questions correctly, they must recognize synonyms and acronyms commonly used within your organization.

Example:

Consider Bank X, which uses 'pre-approval', 'pre-clearance', and 'reportable' interchangeably in its internal documentation. Without explicit guidance, the AI assistants cannot infer these connections, potentially leading to incorrect or incomplete answers when queried about these terms. For instance, a question about 'pre-approval' might not retrieve relevant information on 'pre-clearance', resulting in an inadequate response.

When using acronyms and industry-specific terms, it's recommended to provide AI assistants with all synonymous terms to enhance the search for pertinent information in the knowledge base. It's also suggested to reach out to your chat administrator if you notice the AI assistant could not recognize an acronym.
